Psychological, Humanistic therapies

Often referred to as “Talking Therapies” can help in lots of different situations.  Talking therapies are for anyone who’s going through a bad time or has emotional, including historic, problems they struggle to sort out on their own. Focusing on self-development, growth and responsibilities, we seek to help individuals recognise their strengths, creativity and choice in the ‘here and now’. 

Some therapists teach specific skills to help you tolerate painful emotions which vary from historic traumas and incidents to more recent issues, manage relationships more effectively, or improve behaviour. You may also be encouraged to develop your own solutions.
